QA Document Control Specialist

Vege Labs is a company based in Glendale, California, specializing in the formulation, product development, and manufacturing of beauty and wellness products. We offer a range of services including research and development, compounding, filling, and packaging of various products such as shampoos, conditioners, hairsprays, serums, hand sanitizers, and fragrances.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.

This role requires strong proofreading skills, proficiency in document management systems, and the ability to produce clear technical documentation. The Document Specialist will play a key role in supporting administrative functions and enhancing our document management processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the lifecycle of documents, including creation, revision, approval, and archiving.

Ensure all documents comply with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.

Perform proofreading to ensure accuracy and clarity of all documentation.

Develop, edit, and maintain quality documentation, including Batch records, CAPA, Customer Complaints, Annual OTC Review, and others.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for documentation.

Perform regular audits of documentation to identify and correct discrepancies.

Facilitate the approval process to ensure timely updates and compliance.

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve document management processes.

Update Databases with relevant documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in document management or related administrative roles.

Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards is highly desirable.

Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the industry is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in technical writing is a plus.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
