Technology Support/Customer Service Rep

Job Overview: . The ideal candidate would have worked in a cellular retail store understanding customer service & technology.

As a Technology Support/Customer Service Rep, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous testing, inspection, and proactive identification of failure points. You will also be the first point of contact for any customer who has any issue with the product or service the company provides. In addition, you will be responsible for managing inventory and overseeing day-to-day office tasks, with an emphasis on shipping retail and wholesale orders. The ideal candidate would have worked in a cellular retail store understanding customer service & technology.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage Shopify online store, fulfilling orders, fielding inquiries, and tracking inventory levels.

Handle incoming phone calls and email requests about customer-specific issues with their devices, logging details into the support logs for future references.

Conduct various testing and project-specific tasks while maintaining detailed documentation of tasks performed to contribute to a comprehensive record of product testing.

Analyze RMA/broken units to identify root causes of failures and recommend improvements for enhanced product durability and performance.

Utilize different portals for activation, deactivation, and management of SIMs, ensuring seamless connectivity.

Tabulating weekly and monthly reports in Excel & Google Docs

Provisioning devices to new customers and shipping in a timely manner.

Management of quarterly inventory for reporting of stock management.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience or more of either work or university experience.

Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service.

Must have strong communication skills (writing, speaking).

Strong foundation in Math and computer usage: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Google Docs/Sheets.

Able to stay organized with strong attention to detail even in the absence of direct supervision.

Mobility & flexibility - can carry up to 25 lbs.

Bonus:

Knowledge in some programming languages: Python, JavaScript, and NodeJS.

Knowledge in wireless communication.

Some experience in MQTT protocols: HiveMQ or Mosquitto MQTT.

Hourly pay starts at $24. Pay can change depending on experience and qualification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

Los Angeles, CA 90015 (Required)
