We are an established vending machine company servicing Los Angeles and Orange County areas in colleges, universities, and hospitals. All of the locations have 24-hour access.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Vending Machine Technician with a background in electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering to diagnose and repair vending machines across Los Angeles and Orange County. This is a contract/hourly position with the potential to become a salaried role based on performance and fit.
Responsibilities:
Drive to vending machine locations as needed to diagnose and repair issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software-related errors on the spot.
Read and interpret error codes and machine diagnostics to determine necessary repairs.
Communicate effectively with the team regarding machine status and needed parts.
Maintain accurate service records for each machine visit.
Work flexibly, as service calls may come on short notice and are time-sensitive.
Qualifications:
Background in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering os a plus
Experience working with vending machines, kiosks, or similar automated equipment is a plus
Ability to diagnose and repair hardware and software-related vending machine issues
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to service locations
Mandarin language reading skills are a plus but not required
Flexibility in schedule to accommodate urgent repairs
