Laser & Event Production Technician (Lasers / LED / Lighting / AV)
Location: Los Angeles (Nightlife / Large-Scale Events)
Schedule: Every Friday & Saturday — 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Type: Freelance / Ongoing Weekend Work
Pay: Competitive – based on experience
We are seeking an experienced Laser & Event Production Technician to operate and manage high-end laser, lighting, audio, and LED wall systems for large-scale nightlife productions.
This is an ongoing weekend position for someone who is comfortable working overnight hours in a live, high-pressure environment.
This is NOT an entry-level role.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (must have):
Pangolin laser software (Beyond / QuickShow / FB4)
Professional laser operation & safety knowledge
Ability to connect and control LED beam lighting via computer
Strong understanding of DMX / Art-Net / lighting control
myDMX 5 software experience
Complete understanding of audio & video wiring
Power distribution
Signal flow
XLR, DMX, Ethernet, HDMI, SDI
LED video wall setup
Panel assembly
Data & power connections
Basic troubleshooting

PLUS (not required but preferred):
GrandMA or other advanced lighting consoles
LED processors (NovaStar, Brompton, etc.)
Show programming & cueing
Experience with warehouse, club, or large-crowd events
Ability to troubleshoot quickly during live shows

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Operating lasers during live events
Setting up and controlling LED beam lighting
Wiring and integrating audio, lighting, and video systems
Setting up, testing, and maintaining LED walls
Assisting with load-in / load-out
On-site troubleshooting during events

Friday & Saturday nights only (10 PM–6 AM)
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
Must be comfortable working overnight
No beginners, no hobbyists
