Immediate opening for an experienced music equipment specialist / driver. This is a full time position.
We are looking for individuals with a multifaceted understanding of musical equipment to work in a fast paced environment. Some kind of experience in the music/concert/production industry is ESSENTIAL. This is NOT an Audio or A/V position, however crossover experience in these areas is extremely helpful.
Job requirements:
-Must be detail oriented and self motivated
-Backline and/or production experience
-Basic knowledge of musical instruments.
-California valid driver's license and good driving record. (mandatory)
Note: This means no tickets or accidents within the last 3 years.
-Experience driving a 16'-24' box truck is strongly preferred
-Flexible schedule with availability to work nights and weekends
-Must live in close proximity to Van Nuys
This is an entry level job that consists of heavy lifting, driving, long hours, possible weekends. Staring wage is $18hr .
Although normal shop hours are 9:30am-6:00pm M-F, the occasional early morning start, late night end, and weekend schedules are also part of the job.
