Seeking Red Carpet/ Celebrity Interview Hosts and Writers for exciting Entertainment News Site: internship opportunities with room for growth.
Xtra Access TV is a new pop culture and entertainment news site. We give our readers an exciting all access pass and exclusive take on Hollywood. We attend Hollywood’s largest red carpets from movie premieres to award shows, we get access to exclusive junket interviews with actors on shows on major networks and films by major studios and we also cover breaking news. We are looking for a few dynamic interns to join our team and grow with us. These positions will eventually turn into paid positions as our brand grows more but for an aspiring entertainment news host, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

All the above would enable you to have a strong resume & make you a force to reckon with in the highly competitive entertainment industry before you even graduate (if you’re still a student). This is a very unique opportunity for a college student- especially Communications, Broadcasting and Journalism students (although your major doesn’t matter. Just an interest in the entertainment industry). It usually takes people years in the industry to form the connections needed to have access to the events and celebrity interviews and junkets you will get in this position. We are open to non students as well if you’re a good fit.
What’s required:
- [ ] An upbeat, spanky personality and great public speaking/ presentation skills to interview people and make pop culture content
- [ ] Great writing skills to produce 2-3 story posts per day on our socials and website
- [ ] Great team work attitude and reliability
- [ ] An ability to meet deadlines and deliver within required time frame
- [ ] Social media savvy
- [ ] Video editing skills a plus
- [ ] Skilled at using Canva would be preferred
At only 2 months old, we already have an over 200,000 audience reach and we are looking for the perfect team to go with us into the millions. If you’ve ever seen yourself at the MTV VMAs or other major Hollywood award shows interviewing celebrities then this is the opportunity for you.
