A private animal foundation and sanctuary in Acton is seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to spend your days surrounded by rescued animals—providing hands-on care, comfort, and support in a truly meaningful environment.
About the Position
This is a full-time, outdoor position working directly with animals in all weather conditions (sun, wind, or rain).
You’ll be part of a close-knit team that ensures every animal receives the care and attention they deserve.
Daily duties include:
Feeding and providing fresh water
Cleaning and maintaining outdoor enclosures
Walking long distances (including hilly terrain)
Lifting up to 50+ lbs
Assisting with basic medical and wellness care
Opportunities for Growth:
We encourage team members who show initiative and compassion to grow into veterinary support roles. Training is available for those interested in learning to administer medications, fluids, and basic medical treatments under supervision.
Who We’re Looking For
Experience in animal care, agriculture, construction, or other physical/outdoor work
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (lifting, walking, bending)
Reliable transportation and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Most importantly: a deep love for animals and a desire to be part of a compassionate, long-term team
Schedule
7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Full-time: 40+ hours per week
Open, flexible schedule — some weekends and holidays required
