Automotive Painter
Job Description
Essential Functions:
Identify all areas in need of prepping for buffing/sanding or any other repairs before proceeding to paint application
Mix to specified color using standard formulas, color charts and factory recommended specifications
Ability to sand, mask, blend, and polish finish. Apply or retouch paint as necessary
Full Spray Booth Operations
Duties may include final sanding, masking, applying primers sealers color and clear coats, operate prep stations, color mixing and tinting
Works with potentially hazardous materials so attention to safety and personal protection are essential
Remain conscious of and make every effort to achieve the objectives outlined on the cars scheduled
Communicate directly with shop manager on current jobs and any delays
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Required Skills
At least 10 years of experience in automotive refinishing
At least 10 years of experience in the auto or truck repair and paint industry
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow teammates in a positive spirit of teamwork
Remain conscious of and make every effort to achieve the objectives outlined on the delivery list of cars scheduled
Strong attention to detail
Occasional O.T. as needed
The ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
Pay range is DOE
Located in North Hollywood, CA
This is a full- time position
