We work with businesses, hotels, art galleries, frame shops, interior designers and home owners who are in need of art handling services. Our services include packaging, delivery and installation of framed art, mirrors and sculptures. We have been delivering and installing artwork all over the country for the past 15 years.

Job Description

Applicants without resume will not be looked at.

We are looking for individuals with a strong carpentry / handyman background. Delicate handling of sometime large and heavy pieces of artwork is required. A background and knowledge of basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, drill, level) is required.

Must be available to travel overnight and long distances!

Primary Duties & Responsibilities of the ideal candidate include :

You will be working with a lead installer assisting residential clients, interior designers, art consultants as well as construction crews in handling and installing artwork in a safe and efficient manner.

You will be measuring artwork, wall space and using a variety of hardware to properly hang artwork and mirrors of all shapes and sizes.

You will be regularly driving in the Los Angeles area and to new locations often. You may on occasion operate a company vehicle to safely deliver product to customers.

Communicate often with clients and designers to ensure their vision of the project comes to life.

Communicate often with the office / dispatcher on any issues or discrepancies that arise in order to problem solve on the fly.

Qualifications

You must have at least 5 years of experience working with power tools / hand tools (tape measure, power drills, angle grinder, nail gun, levels, chop saw, table saw). There will be a test at the interview to ensure you have experience with each.

Must be willing and capable to work a flexible schedule.

Ability to resolve routine questions and problem solve on the fly. Ability to follow very detailed instructions and specific protocols to maintain safety of artwork and co-workers.

Must have the ability to serve clients with high end needs that require calm problem solving to ever changing job environments.

Must be willing to commute to various job sites around Los Angeles

Must have reliable vehicle for transportation

Salary

$25.00 - $30.00 /hour. Occasionally additional rates for travel or specific jobs.
