Immediate openings for skilled Fiberglass Techs. Work involves fabrication and laminating fiberglass onto custom fabricated pieces.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Spray chopped fiberglass, resins and catalysts onto prepared molds or dies using spray guns or by hand lamination.
Apply gel coat using sprayers, brushes, or rollers and lay-up laminates using fiberglass mat or cloth and properly catalyzed resin.
Laminate fiberglass layers together, removing air bubbles with rollers and brushes.
Finish pieces by grinding, sanding, using sanding blocks or orbital sanders to prepare for priming and painting.
Prim, paint and finish polish final parts
Mask, tape off and protect surfaces with paper, drop cloths and plastic.
Must have recent experience with either Auto Body fabrication, fiberglass fabrication, or mold making.
Ability to work with other team members
Flexible for OT and occasional Friday to meet production schedules and departmental needs.
Work 4 – 10 hour days with 3 day weekends
