Job description
Electrician Apprentice/Helper
Compensation: $17-$28 Per Hour DOE
Employment type: full-time
Job title: Electrician Apprentice/Helper
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits
and equipment
2. Digs trenches for the installation of underground cable and drill holes for the
installation of cable or conduit
3. Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job
while working under immediate supervision
4. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgement
5. Works in confined spaces and in proximity of all types of electrical equipment such as
electrical panels, switchgear, transformers and all types of lighting.
6. Assist an Electrical Journeyman with the installation of conduits, wire, electrical panels
And transformers
7. Replaces tools and materials after work is complete.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
1. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a
Particular field
2. Certification OSHA 30- Hours, Lock Out Tag Out, CPR and working towards an E card.
3. Exceptional communication skills
4. Must have valid driver’s license
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Self – Starter and able to multitask
7. Must be able to work any shift (Day, Mid or Night)

Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
