Full-service cabinet shop specializing in high-end residential homes and commercial projects is looking for an experienced finish carpenter with the working knowledge of the processing and installation of architectural millwork & cabinetry. Our work involves the processing and installation of cabinetry, doors, windows, casework, paneling, decking and exterior finish carpentry. You must know how to use hand tools and power tools required for the position. You must follow all health and safety standards required for this position.
Qualifications:
Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches for cabinetry, millwork & casework fabrication.
Accurately take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed for a project.
Process and assemble custom millwork & cabinetry.
Prep millwork & casework for wood finishing.
Experience running woodworking machinery like edge bander, table saw, router table, joiner, planer, etc.
CNC experience a plus.
Requirements:
Arrive to work on-time and stay until your shift is done.
Take full responsibility for your work and understand the estimated schedule to complete a task.
Repair mistakes right away.
Tool kit is kept in excellent condition. Cutting blades are sharp, cords are in excellent condition, batteries are kept fully charged.
Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects such as doors, cabinets panels, beams, etc.
Reliable transportation to commute to assigned job site.
Must have own installation tools.
