Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet. You’ll be responsible for measuring, cutting, and fitting flooring in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality, durable results.
Responsibilities:
Install a variety of flooring types, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, and tile.
Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the dimensions of the room or area.
Prepare and level the subfloor to ensure a smooth and even installation.
Apply adhesive, grout, or other materials to secure flooring.
Ensure precise cuts and alignments for edges and corners.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues or challenges as they arise.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with flooring installation.
Follow safety guidelines and building codes during installation.
Perform floor repairs or replacements as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Flooring Installer (minimum of 5 years).
Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery associated with flooring installation.
Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting and installing flooring.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or flooring layouts.
Familiarity with floor preparation, such as leveling and sanding.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
