We are looking for an experienced furniture upholsterer to join our team and work on high end projects. Experience with leather required.
Job description:
Measure, cut, install and secure material (leather, fabric) on frames using the correct tools (hand tools, power tools, glue, staples, etc.)
Make and/or restore custom upholstered furniture (benches, etc.) from drawings/plans.
Maintain work area clean and organized.
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in furniture upholstery.
Ability to use upholstery tools as well as other hand/power tools.
Ability to hand and machine sew.
Ability to read shop drawings (AutoCAD) and build products from it.
Ability to create patterns with leather, fabric and stitching.
