We are looking for a General Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. We are a small property management company providing management, maintenance and repair of light commercial and single family homes. The work hours would be 9 AM – 5 PM Monday – Friday with possible limited after hours work by agreement. We routinely perform the following jobs:
Electrical
Replace outlets, switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, troubleshooting, run new conduit and wire for new installations as needed.
Plumbing
Repair showers, faucets, water heaters, residential toilets, commercial toilets. Clear drains, repair water lines and drain lines, troubleshoot gas lines
Patching/Painting
Patch holes, match texture, paint touch-ups and room painting, patch stucco, replace drywall as needed.
Carpentry
Install windows, doors, trim, and wall paneling. Complete carpentry repairs as needed. Refinishing of wood surfaces and some hardwood floor maintenance.
HVAC
Replace filters, thermostats, and basic HVAC preventative maintenance. We do use HVAC contractors for other repairs.
Limited Landscape
Some planting, basic irrigation and erosion control.
Other
General repairs and cleaning required for unit turnovers. General maintenance and repairs on all building systems.
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience. There is a large range of knowledge and ability in the field so the compensation would be $24 - $30/hr based on experience, efficiency, attitude, and proficiency.
Some project sites are in Temecula California. Applicant must be willing to work in both locations.
