This position will responsible for the teardown, cleaning, assembly and calibration of mechanical diesel fuel injectors, rotary diesel injection pumps, and inline diesel injection pumps.
This is a Journeyman skill level position; candidate should be able to perform all job duties and responsibilities with limited supervision.
Teardown, clean, assemble and calibrate Diesel Fuel Injection components, such as fuel injection pumps and injectors.
Safely use chemical and mechanical methods to clean fuel injection components.
Properly use tools and equipment to assemble and test fuel injection components.
Properly use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and indicators.
Use computer systems and software to control test processes and record data.
Follow documented procedures and work instructions.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Prior diesel fuel shop required. High school diploma or GED, good mechanical aptitude highly desirable with a willingness to learn.
Prior Bosch, Stanadyne, Delphi factory training preferred.
Use all required Personal Protective Equipment.
Follows all required company Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
This is a stand-up position that requires standing at a work bench while working.
