Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, scrape, and prime surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paints or coatings.

Painting: Apply paint, varnish, or stains using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

Color Matching: Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes.

Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Safety: Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Quality Control: Inspect finished surfaces for uniformity and quality, touching up as necessary.

Communication: Work with clients, supervisors, or contractors to understand project requirements and deliver results according to specifications.

Lead Role: Train and supervise apprentices or less experienced painters.

Skills and Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience as a professional painter.

Comprehensive knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety regulations.

Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments (heights, outdoors, confined spaces).
