I am looking to build out a space that is approximately 14x20. Structurally good, though wanting to add some things. Leveling of concrete floor may be required. Floor will either be sealed concrete or tongue and groove flooring. This is not a "fancy" job, but I appreciate nice clean lines and simplicity.
About you:
You have been working in the trade for a long time (old school electrical and plumbing knowledge is appreciated given some complexities), have contactable references, are honest, reliable and know what you're doing (or at least be transparent about what you do not have knowledge/experience with). You are willing to work with me (a female) to complete this job in approximately one week: preferable Thanksgiving week (though flexible with dates till December). You are knowledgable about plumbing (house hydrant with pex pipe, water heaters, etc,), electrical (I may want the set up to be predominantly off grid. I have solar panels, solar charger, inverter, shurflo water pump, deep cycle batteries, etc.).
About me: I am proficient at using a lot of tools. I'm not an expert, but I've put in doors, built a deck, a chicken coop, installed insulation and drywall, windows etc. I took out all the electrical for his space and I will be working in tandem with you, helping to be your extra set of hands: doing basic cuts, installing closets, countertops, flooring, painting etc. I have experience working with contractors and generally get on well with most people. I am usually kind and generous, but that is not to be mistaken as a weakness. The property is in the process of being worked on, so the setup is unconventional.
Work environment: This is in Topanga, near Saddle Peak. You'll need reliable transport, discretion, and a commitment to help me with this project from start to finish. Restaurants and coffee shops within 5 minutes drive. I will provide coffee in the morning, and maybe something else to nibble on.
