Project Coordinator - Residential Construction

Key Responsibilities:

Site Coordination & Visits: Drive to job sites, monitor progress, address issues, and report updates to the project manager.

Material Management: Assist with ordering, tracking, and delivering light materials (e.g., finishes, faucets, samples).

Scheduling & Planning: Maintain and adjust construction schedules to keep projects on time and on budget.

Client Communication: Act as a direct point of contact, sharing updates, handling concerns, and ensuring a smooth client experience.

Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Schedule deliveries, manage on-site logistics, and oversee trades to ensure timely work.

Weekly Progress Meetings: Join or lead regular team meetings to review milestones, challenges, and next steps.

Documentation & Reporting: Keep detailed records, update project files, and prepare job site progress reports.

Permit & Inspection Assistance: Coordinate inspections, ensure permit compliance, and help the team meet requirements.

Qualifications:

Some experience in construction project coordination or a related field (ADU experience is a plus).

Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills.

Familiarity with Google Sheets, Docs, and project management software (or willingness to learn).

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and schedules (training will be provided if needed).

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (mileage reimbursement offered).

Capable of lifting and transporting light materials and samples.

Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who can work independently.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ProCore, and QuickBooks is a plus.

Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a bonus.

Able to pass a drug test and background check.

Job Description:

Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, architects, engineers, designers, and the in-house construction team to plan, coordinate, and complete projects on time and within budget.

Oversee projects from start to finish, including pre-planning, scheduling, contract administration, and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Assist with new project bids, review subcontractor proposals, gather material quotes, and manage progress billing.

Use excellent communication and problem-solving skills to interpret project specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, and navigate material requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

Full-time salaried position (compensation based on experience) $1,000 - $1,300 weekly.

Gas reimbursement for job-site travel.
