We are seeking a skilled Shop Carpenter to join our production facility for a short-term custom cabinet project. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with wood and other materials to fabricate, assemble, and finish high-quality components. This position requires strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood and other materials according to specifications.
Read and interpret plans, drawings, and work instructions.
Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist with fabrication, assembly, and installation projects as needed.
Troubleshoot and problem-solve to ensure product quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
Proven carpentry experience in a shop, production, or fabrication environment.
Proficient in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
