Skills and Education Requirements:
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in a related field.
Organizational Skills: Must be detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational abilities.
Construction Knowledge: Understanding of typical construction processes, including familiarity with tools, tasks, and roles in hands-on work.
Specialized Knowledge: Proficient in millwork cabinetry and installation (preferred but not mandatory)
Workshop Experience: Capable and willing to work in a shop environment, with skills in cabinetry, assembly, joinery, and using various shop equipment.
Productivity Standards: Meets or exceeds productivity benchmarks, completes work on schedule, and continuously seeks ways to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Location: Ability to commute to our shop in Torrance.
Cabinetry Work: Follow shop drawings as provided by the shop foreman. Tasks include layout of cabinetry, cabinet doors, hardware, drawer boxes, and all millwork.
Tool Usage: Utilize various hand tools to cut, shape, modify and ensuring dimensions are as specified provided by shop Foreman.
Site Maintenance: Responsible for thorough cleaning of work areas at shop by end of each day.
Compliance: Ensure that work is completed according to the latest revision issued by the shop Foreman.
