Tile Setter Qualifications:
Legal right to work in the United States.
Professional, dependable/reliable, and punctual
Must have own reliable transportation
Must have a good attitude and work well with others on the crew
Flexible and the ability to adapt to change
Willing to learn and take directions
Must know how to float and have tile setting experience
Know how to use a tape measure and how to read it for purposes of making tile cuts and installing tile
Job Description:
Float, set tile, and figure preliminary layout to start the tiling process.
Move and lift heavy items (60 lbs.)
Assist with daily setup, mixing cement, cleaning tools, running tile saws, cleaning up around the job site, other miscellaneous duties, and assist with end-of-the-day clean-up.
Reports to the Job site Foreman and follows his lead and directions
Assists the team where needed
Notifies the foreman of any issues or concerns that may need to be addressed.
Must follow all safety rules and regulations
