Summary:
The Water Heater Super Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and selling water heaters in residential and commercial environments. Due to the emergency nature of our services, the position requires mandatory overtime as the business dictates.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install gas, electric, and tankless water heaters, filtration, and related products.
- Present to customers product information, pricing, and benefits.
- When applicable, actively close residential and/or commercial sales and services.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace water heaters.
- Perform maintenance pre protocol.
- Maintain truck stock inventory at pre-determined levels.
- Complete all documentation appropriately.
- Educate clients on their water heaters and maintenance requirements.
- Perform work that will meet all standards of building codes and safety.
- Regularly communicate with Dispatchers and Installers
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- One year’s experience is highly desired.
- Plumbing experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift water heaters, and heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Able to routinely stand, bend, sit, crawl, and drive.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and accept direction from experienced co-workers and Field Supervisor
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report pursuant to company policy.
