We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. The Delivery Driver will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to improve customer satisfaction as well as delivery times.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses through different routes
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle
Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 100 pounds to a height of 2-3 feet
o Pack and load products into vehicle according to Company specifications
Frequently communicate with customers
o Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
o Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
o Collect payments
o Inform customers about new products and services
Complete logs and reports
Answer phone calls
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions
Performs other related duties, as assigned
Abide by all company rules, policies and regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Minimum 1 year’s experience as a delivery driver
Good driving record with no traffic violations
Ability to lift and move heavy products on a regular basis
Strong customer service skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Team player
