Job Description: We are seeking dependable, independent delivery drivers with their own vehicles to join our team! As a 1099 contractor. You will be picking up in Montebello and delivering transmission parts in and around LA/Orange County.
Key Responsibilities:
-Pick up and deliver packages to businesses and residences.
-Ensure timely and safe delivery of all packages.
-Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and customers.
-Handle all packages with care and deliver them in excellent condition.
-Follow traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
-Complete required delivery logs and documentation.
Qualifications:
-Must have own vehicle
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
a-Ability to lift and carry packages (up to lbs).
-Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented.
-Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently.
-Workers' compensation insurance is required. (As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own workers' compensation coverage to ensure your safety while on the job.)
Compensation:
-Pay is per delivery and will be discussed during the interview.
-Weekly payments.
-Workers' compensation coverage required for all contractors.
