Job Summary:
Our company needs hard working, punctual, self-driven workers to staff multiple upcoming projects. We’re hiring on a Full-time basis to start, with an opportunity of overtime in the near future. We’re looking for drivers with warehouse experience that want to progress in the company and learn the sheet metal/HVAC trade. We can also take on individuals with no prior HVAC or sheet metal experience. We offer safe, educational training on the job as well as opportunities for advancement. Some drivers have become sheet metal Apprentices.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountability to your supervisor to check in at all stops and starts of your daily deliveries
Responsible for insuring that your truck is fully loaded ready for the day ahead.
Check dispatch and meet delivery times.
Drive to the jobsites and coordinate with the foremen
Make sure truck is unloaded and left at a designated area
Gas up and load up truck for the next day
Warehouse maintenance
Shipping and receiving
Requirements:
Must have valid California Driver’s License, and have had this license for at least two years.
Must also have a good driving record in order to be approved by our insurance company.
Applicants must bring with them to interview a current MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) that can be obtained from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
