MUST have Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach truck/drayage dispatch & operating experience
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bilingual (in Spanish) A MUST
Constant tracking of drivers, ensuring on-time deliveries
Tracking and tracing container shipments via terminal portal
Phone call and email communications with clients and drivers
Minimum of 3 years’ full-time experience in LA/LB port drayage dispatching and operations in the trucking industry
Book and Verify shipments, monitor and provide guidance to drivers, review daily work for completeness, and confirm next day appointment times.
Position: PORT NIGHT SHIFT DISPATCHER
Working hours: 5 pm to 2:30 am, subject to change base on workload.
