We are currently looking for Drivers to help deliver orders in the Southern California area, including San Diego. We offer friendly work conditions with starting wages at $20/hour. In addition to annual raises, benefits include: 401K with matching, medical/dental/vision insurance, 9 vacation days + 6 personal days, and plenty of seasonal overtime.
Drivers work 4 – 10 hour shifts from Wednesday through Saturday. This position requires a self-motivated individual with excellent organization skills. This is a full time position with paid holidays. During the busy season (Oct to Dec), you can expect overtime. Our trucks are 20 foot "box trucks.” While a CDL license is not required, it is a plus. You must have a clean license.
Start time is between 4 am and 5 am and involves loading your truck from a feeder truck or from a local warehouse in Vernon, CA. All deliveries for that day’s route are to be completed unless unforeseen issues arise.
While the majority of the cheeses are between 4 - 7 lbs, you must be able to lift as much as 85 lbs.
There will be a training period as to how we expect deliveries to be made.
