Well Tucker’s Performance has been building and restoring award winning classics and hot rods here in Las Vegas for nearly 50 years, so if you have the talent, dedication, experience, and desire to show off your skills at the highest level then you’ve come to the right place.
We build and restore cars from the 50’s to present day, from AC Cobras to Coyote-swapped Broncos, from ultra-rare Corvettes to custom pickups, so it’s important you’re comfortable working on all types of ignitions, drivetrains, transmissions, and engines, carburetors or EFI.
This is not a position for beginners or learning, we are exceptionally busy, fast-paced shop looking for someone who can step in immediately and help produce exceptional quality work. Specific needs for any techs interested are:
Ability to assess and diagnose a vehicle’s needs, then perform the necessary repairs without supervision.
Collaborative work with other techs is terrific but they are not here to teach a new tech how to do the job
Able to work as part of a solid, experienced team
Has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Has their own tools
Knows how to be to work on time and has reliable transportation
Absolute attention to detail, our customers demand exceptional results
Heavy mechanical background is a an absolute “must”
Electrical, hydraulic, and body-work/painting are all a bonus
If you’re comfortable working with, and tuning, aftermarket EFI systems, all the better
Salary is commensurate with experience and health insurance is available for those interested
