Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse and Equipment Manager to join our team. This key role will involve overseeing the maintenance, organization, and transportation of vehicles and equipment, as well as managing our yard operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain a smooth-running operation, ensuring vehicles and equipment are in top condition and promptly transported when needed.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all warehouse equipment, vehicles, and inventory.
Oversee and organize the yard, ensuring all equipment is stored safely and efficiently.
Coordinate the maintenance, servicing, and repairs of vehicles and equipment.
Ensure timely transportation of vehicles and equipment to various job sites as required.
Act as a runner for transporting tools, materials, and other items as needed.
Monitor and maintain compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Implement efficient systems for tracking and managing equipment inventory.
Work closely with other departments to ensure equipment availability for upcoming projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in warehouse management, equipment maintenance, or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to maintain and operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
Ability to transport equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and equipment tracking.
Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
Comfortable working in outdoor and varying environmental conditions.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Class A license preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Wage & Benefits
This is a full-time hourly position with Competitive pay
Hourly range: $22.00+/hour (commensurate with experience)
Work Hours: 6:00 AM Start time
