Email Marketing Analyst/Brand Marketing Analyst
This role will support the CRM organization in developing and growing consumer relationships through email campaigns, push notification campaigns, digital communications and activations, reporting and analytics.
This is a hands on role requiring the ability to lead and execute at the day-to-day campaign level, while also driving towards “big picture” goals and objectives including strategic alignment with other channels such as push, app, web, digital, and social to drive acquisition, engagement and retention. The ideal candidate will be highly data-driven and creative, and able to thrive while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Manager, Precision Marketing (CRM).

Responsibilities
• Own and execute email marketing campaigns including end-to-end execution, testing and optimization, strategy, scheduling, reporting and analysis.
• Executes push notification campaigns, including set-up, testing, deployment, and reporting.
• Execute digital communications and activations including, set up, testing, deployment, and reporting.
• Ensure consistent quality and strategic alignment of campaigns, in close collaboration with 3rd party vendors.
• Maintain and develop data collection portals and data integrations as they relate to CRM programs and initiatives. Track and maintain CRM database and help resolve issues.
• Build a deep understanding of consumer base to identify core insights and drive effective audience segmentation, targeting, & communications strategies independently and in tandem with rest of the CRM team.
• Drive and measure success against departmental KPIs for customer engagement, acquisition, retention, and personalization initiatives.
• Develop collaborative relationships within a matrixed organization with internal and external partners across marketing strategy, advanced analytics, data integration, product, programming, sales, governance, legal, and other teams to drive CRM initiatives and insights across The Company Company.
• Ensure governance standards and legal compliance requirements for all direct marketing are upheld with partners, agencies, and vendors.
• Act as subject matter expert and communicate performance results, strategy, and make recommendations to internal partners. Contribute to business reviews.
• Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications/ Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant email and/or digital marketing experience using email service providers such as Cheetah Digital, Braze, Adobe Campaign, Movable Ink, Return Path, BlueKai, Salesforce, etc. with experience managing those relationships.
• 2+ years of relevant experience maintaining or managing a marketing database with proven ability to troubleshoot data integrity or integration issues, and an aptitude for synthesizing and interpreting data and consumer insights into successful engagement strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of email and digital marketing concepts and processes including but not limited to content, design, production, scheduling and send cadence, audience targeting and segmentation, deliverability, best practices, QA and testing processes, and legal compliance.
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML for email template design, manipulation, and maintenance, and a demonstrable aptitude for trouble shooting.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver, or comparable tools.
• Proven track record of achieving results in a matrixed and/or sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrable aptitude for learning new skills, programs, and processes
• Self-starter, innovative, proactive, detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of relevant push marketing experience using app service providers like Braze, Urban Airship, etc.
• Proficiency with web analytic tools, marketing analytics/metrics, and standard marketing KPI’s with various online and offline channels.
• Experience facilitating digital activations through a data management platform such as Oracle BlueKai, Adobe Audience Manager, Salesforce DMP etc.
• Familiarity with Omniture and Tableau
• Basic database structure understanding
• Experience with app user experience/ user interface concepts
