As a Senior SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and integration of custom coded solutions for the enterprise-wide SharePoint On-Prem platform. You will lead discussions with various requestors to define and create solutions for their SharePoint sites. You will also work closely with the Supervisor of Windows Development and SharePoint Lead to develop a strategy for SharePoint customizations, while accomplishing these and other critical functions:

Working with and making recommendations to the Development Supervisors, Managers and Leads regarding maintenance and enhancement of existing SharePoint solutions.
Working independently to develop and implement comprehensive SharePoint solutions to solve user business requirements; developing solutions in a professional manner and in accordance with established deliverable schedules and firm procedures.
Developing and implementing new SharePoint customizations for the company and maintaining existing production solutions, utilizing appropriate technologies (CSOM/JSOM/REST/SPFx)
Integrating solutions with various internal data sources (SQL/RavenDB/WCF/ASMX web services)
Coding, testing, and debugging application systems per developed specifications; generating prototypes of various stages of development.
Leading small, medium and large size projects from design through deployment.
Maintaining applications after implementation, including user support and software upgrades.
Participating in consultations with development staff and project analysts regarding system requirements and functionality.
Performing and/or assisting peer code-reviews for other developers.
Assisting with the mentoring of and knowledge transfer to other developers.
Preparing appropriate system and user documentation, as required.
Performing other related projects and assignments as required.

As a Senior SharePoint Developer, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Senior SharePoint Developer must have advanced knowledge of SharePoint 2016/2019, Ajax, and JavaScript for building interactive web-based interfaces. Demonstrated use of JavaScript-based UI toolkits is a plus. The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of C# and ASP.NET with the ability to design, develop and debug custom SharePoint web parts (experience with .NET 4.x is required), and experience converting server-side web parts to SPFx solutions is a plus. The Developer must also have an understanding of and experience with source control integration, automated builds and release management; the ability to understand SQL queries and stored procedures preferred; and demonstrated ability to develop user-friendly user interfaces and web applications using clean HTML and CSS design principles. Experience with HTML5 is a plus. Comprehensive understanding of serialization methodologies such as JSON and XML is also desired. Candidates should have strong computer science fundamentals that emphasize code reliability, maintainability and readability, and understanding of enterprise search and document management techniques is a plus. Systems design skills, both conceptual and concrete, acceptance testing and system implementation skills, the ability to understand technical problems as presented by non-technical users, along with the ability to communicate technical solutions in a non-technical manner are desired.

A Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred. A minimum of six (6) years of SharePoint development experience, client-side coded solutions is required, and a minimum of three (3) years of C# and ASP.NET experience is desired. A minimum of three (3) years of advanced HTML/CSS UI development, and two (2) years of advanced Ajax and JavaScript programming experience is desired.
