Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to be part of our team located in Los Banos, California. The role involves various accounting tasks across the industry, requiring skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts. Maintain the general ledger chart of accounts. Assist with initial internal control evaluations. Post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals. Perform month-end account analysis and provide relevant reports. Coordinate and complete annual audits. Implement and monitor accounting standards. Prepare financial reports for tax returns, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, and annual budgets. Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable duties. Conduct regular ledger maintenance. Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations Familiar with maintaining and updating the General Ledger Capable of creating and posting Journal Entries Experience in managing Month End Close activities Proficient in using NetSuite and Oracle software for accounting tasks Knowledge of QuickBooks and SAP for financial management Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions Knowledge of current financial regulations and accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus but not mandatory.Please contact Robert Half at 209.232.1991 for immediate consideration.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
