Robert Half Technology is in URGENT need of a Jr. Security Analyst for a prestigious technology company in Malibu, CA. This will be a 5 month contract and they are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY. The Jr. Security Analyst will be responsible for:

• Operational tasks
• Understand workflows
• Get tasks queued up
• Answer phones & create tickets
• Network access control
• Some work is performed via web page controls.
• Some work is performed via Unix/Linux command line.
• Document work done in task tracker system or as directed via Google Docs.

Requirements

TOP TECH MUST HAVES:

• Experience with Linux Operating systems & Linux server administration
• Comfort withLinux command lines (A MUST)
• Be able to input documented commands accurately at Linux prompt
• Need to know how to use SSH in Linux
• Hands-on experience with configuration and maintaining networking devices is a plus
• Ability to read documentation and take/follow notes of verbal directions is a must
• Have manuals and trainings
• Any experience Scripting (huge plus)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
