Hello, Eric's oil change and repairs is growing and looking to hire an assistant for our service writer. We are a family owned shop that has expanded and looking for a good fit to work with our great employees. We are located on HWY 20 on the north shore of Clearlake in the town of Nice.
General automotive knowledge is a plus for this position but not absolutely necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate. We already have a excellent service writer but need someone to learn the position and assist with delegated tasks.
Customer service skills are a must for this position as you will be interacting with customers at the front desk and taking phone calls.
Basic computer skills are necessary as there will be online tasks and scheduling to be performed, ideally some knowledge of excell spread sheets would be preferred.
Candidates should be able to manage tasks efficiently and be organized as this is a busy auto shop office. As previously stated we understand that automotive repair is a specialty trade and we are willing to teach the right candidate the ins and outs of automotive service writing.
