We are a professional civil engineering firm based in Willits, CA seeking a talented and detail-oriented Part-Time Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. We are looking for a Part-Time Civil Engineering Technician to assist our engineering team with technical tasks, field work, and project support. This position offers flexible hours with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the civil engineering field.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field testing and sample collection
Perform soils laboratory testing and analysis
Record and document test results accurately
Assist with surveying and data collection
Perform routine calculations and data entry
Prepare and organize technical documents and reports
Support project teams with basic office tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Physical ability to collect samples and conduct field work
