The Wedding Coordinator will work closely with couples, vendors and the MacCallum House team to execute flawless events at our historic hotel and restaurant. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in event planning & coordinating, have excellent organizational skills and be a 'people person'.
Responsibilities:
The coordinator will:
Field all inquiries and set-up site tours
Create contracts and f&b addendums
Interface with our chef, the clients, our general manager and reservations manager to organize all hotel and restaurant related details
Create event timelines and layouts
Finalize all venue and vendor logistics leading up to the event.
Coordinate all details of wedding set-up and timeline day-of
Create and manage the final bill
This position is part time, but other positions in the hotel are available and could create a full-time, hybrid position
The MacCallum House is located in an 1882 Victorian in the center of the village of Mendocino. Originally a private home, the Mac House was converted to a hotel and restaurant in the 70s, and is a beloved community institution. The location is steps from the rugged bluffs, redwood forests and the charms of the town.
Previous restaurant/event experience is required.
