Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary accommodations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a fine dining setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods and cuisines.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
