Pennyroyal Farm is seeking an outgoing, energetic, organized, and service oriented professional to join our tasting room staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
⢠With a friendly, outgoing, professional demeanor, serve as ambassador for the brand and first point of contact for Pennyroyal Farm customers.
⢠Pour wines from tasting list and educate customers on Pennyroyal wines, juices and cheeses, our history and the wine making and grape growing process.
⢠Promote the Pennyroyal Farm to Table Cheese Club to all customers in person and via email, and conduct Vineyard and Creamery tours for groups of all sizes.
⢠Set up bar(s) and prepare wine and cheeses for daily tasting, maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
⢠Process purchases using Pennyroyal Farmâs custom Point of Service & Customer Maintenance computer programs.
⢠Clean and refresh Tasting Room as needed including washing dishes and glasses, bathrooms, flower arrangements, deli items, bar, tables and chairs and restock/inventory of supplies.
⢠Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and occasional evenings.
⢠Must be at least 21 years old.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and social media.
⢠Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office â Word, Excel and Outlook) and Navarro POS program.
⢠Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
⢠Ability to work independently, and as a team member to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
⢠High school diploma or GED required
⢠Valid Driverâs license and clean driving record required.
Physical Requirements:
⢠Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
⢠Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
⢠Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
⢠Must be able to stand for extended period of time.
⢠Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
