We are a legal and compliant cannabis company based in Laytonville, CA and we're seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to support upkeep and maintenance of our farms, processing center and company fleet as well as provide oversight of outside contractors.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Our growing company is currently in need of a responsible individual to fill the position of Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. The successful candidate will oversee the company's facility operations, manage staff, manage office moves and manage janitorial duties, all while remaining in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. The Facilities Manager will manage the company's fleet of vehicles assuring regularly scheduled maintenance, timely registration and general upkeep. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will interface with and manage outside contractors

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and coordinates the administrative and operational staff, systems, and activities that ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all building properties.

• Directs the maintenance of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management. Prepares and implements preventive maintenance schedules.

• Manages and trains a staff of employees in the general maintenance of buildings, grounds, infrastructures, equipment.

• Ensures facilities maintenance work follows safety standards, conforms to specifications, and work orders are tracked and completed within the budgeted guidelines.

• Oversees contractors engaged for facility renovation projects.

• Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.

• Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance

• Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES

1. Requires 5 years' experience in the related area as an individual contributor.

2. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience required.

3. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes

4. Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems

5. Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems

6. Demonstrated leadership skills

7. Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

8. Excellent project management skills
