Oscar's Place is a nonprofit donkey ranch located just outside of Hopland. We 185 donkeys. This is hard - but meaningful workand the team is great! This posting is for a full time job (4 or 5 days a week, hours start at 7a). The #1 thing you will be doing is scooping donkey poop. There is a lot of it and it takes many hours each day. Once that is done, there is work to be done with the donkeys, facilities and grounds.
Please only reply if you have your own transportation without a long drive, are reliable and want to join a great team and do some really hard work - again - that includes a lot of poop scooping! (just being extra clear up front) Legal working status required. If you are interested, please reply to this message with a sentence or two about why this is right for you. Please include confirmation that you have transportation. Then we will set up a call. Job is available immediately - you can start tomorrow.
We will do 3 trial days - paid in cash. At the end of these days, if you want to stay and the team wants to work with you - we will start the job officially.
