Key Responsibilities:
Manage the planting, growing, and harvesting cycles of kale crops.
Monitor soil conditions, irrigation schedules, and weather to optimize crop growth.
Ensure the farm follows organic and sustainable farming practices.
Oversee pest control measures, including the use of natural and organic solutions.
Harvest and prepare kale for packaging and distribution.
Maintain farm equipment and ensure tools are in proper working order.
Record crop performance, yield data, and soil conditions for ongoing improvement.
Work closely with the farm manager to meet production goals.
Train and manage farm workers during planting and harvesting seasons.
Qualifications:
Previous farming or agricultural experience (kale farming experience is a plus).
Knowledge of organic farming practices and sustainable agriculture.
Ability to operate farm machinery and tools.
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality crops.
