The Associate Director of Client Services is responsible for providing leadership for case management oversight of clients over the age of 16 through adulthood. Leadership for these services must be provided in accordance with the regional center’s contract with the California Department of Developmental Services, the California Welfare and Institutions Code (those Sections designated as the Lanterman Act), relevant sections of the California Code of Regulations, and policies established by the Redwood Coast Regional Center Board of Directors. Leadership and management responsibilities must also be guided by the RCRC Vision Statement and a strong personal commitment to the principles of Person-Centered Thinking and Planning.
Completion of a master’s degree (preferred) in a field which offers content related to developmental disabilities, such as social work, psychology or nursing; two years of paid experience after the degree, at least one of which is in the field of developmental services, and two years of supervisory experience in a specialty field. Or three years as a Case Management Supervisor or comparable position at Redwood Coast Regional Center, with the requisite knowledge and/or skills listed above
