Project Coordinator I Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 (Depending on Education and Experience)
Project Coordinator II Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.80 (Depending on Education and Experience)
Project Coordinator III Pay Rate: $28.80 - $34.56 (Depending on Education and Experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, 12 months/year
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Coordinator for the Lake County Home Hardening Project will play a crucial role in facilitating the implementation of a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing home resilience against wildfires. The role involves responsibilities spanning homeowner education, outreach, application intake, home and parcel assessments, case management, environmental compliance, FEMA review, home hardening, defensive space implementation, and fiscal/project outcomes reporting. This is a highly collaborative position that requires creativity, an ability to think strategically, and above average communication and organizational skills. This position may be called upon to act as a liaison to local, regional, state, or federal partners, as well as engage with clients and members of the community, requiring a high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence, and the ability to be an effective presenter. The Project Coordinator will also perform a variety of administrative tasks, requiring proficiency in Microsoft Office.
