We are Hare Creek Nursery and Power Equipment Inc and have been in business for 40 years. We provide the coast with their entire nursery and power equipment needs. Hare Creek provides excellent customer service as well as a quality product.
We are looking for a knowledgeable nursery worker to join our team. This employee will have plant and gardening knowledge as well as providing excellent customer service. Hare Creek is looking for someone who can multi-task when things get busy and who can work independently when things slow down. We are typically busy in the spring and summer months and slow down considerably in the fall and winter months.
Day to Day Duties may include but are not limited to:
Greet visitors and customers
Provide customer service and complete sales transactions with a POS system
Assist in maintenance of department, including watering, pruning and fertilization.
Keep product flowing which may include transplanting, stock rotation, etc.
Ensure that store front and entrance displays are full of fresh, colorful product.
Answer customer questions regarding regional plants and garden necessities.
Job Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to maneuver in between and around garden benches.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a wide variety of weather conditions
Strong knowledge of gardening and plant care.
