Helper / Handyman or Metal Sculptor Assistant (Little River)
Compensation: Based on experience (higher pay if you have your own tools)
Schedule: Part-time, ongoing, flexible (1–3 days/week)
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and positive individual to join our crew in Little River.
This role can be either as a general helper/handyman or as a metal sculptor assistant. The skill sets are different, and if you have experience in both areas that’s a plus — but if your strengths are in just one, that’s perfectly fine. This could be a great fit for a semi-retired person or anyone who enjoys varied, practical work in a creative environment
Requirements:
Speak and understand English clearly
Reliable transportation and working phone
Good communicator with a positive attitude
Able to follow instructions and work safely
No substance abuse issues
Skills that are helpful (but not all required):
General handyman experience (tools, chain saws, minor carpentry, mechanical)
Welding (gas, MIG, TIG), fabricating, or auto body experience
Forklift or equipment operation (tractor, backhoe, compressor)
Landscaping, plumbing, or wiring knowledge helpful
Work may include:
General property and landscape maintenance
Assisting with sculpture fabrication and studio organization
Basic equipment upkeep (oil changes, cleaning, painting)
Helping with home and rental maintenance projects
This is an opportunity to work in a beautiful 5-acre sculpture park and studio environment while learning and contributing to unique projects.
