Position: Solutions Architect, Learning and Development

Location: Menlo Park, CA Or New York NY

Length: 12 Month Contract

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the L&D Design & Development team, as well as other key client partner and vendor teams to architect, design, deliver, optimize, and measure organization-wide learning that supports our Diversity and Inclusion strategy
  • Develop and manage dynamic project plans while applying a systems-thinking approach to successfully build learning solutions in multiple modalities for leaders, managers, employees, and teams at the client (from initial idea to pilots to fully operational programs and products)
  • Manage event and video production efforts to support scaled community learning including virtual learning events with audiences from 10 to 2000 people
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and make programs consistent globally while balancing the business need and D&I opportunity for localization across our offices
  • Understand and apply program strategies to decision making and proposals and make recommendations on program changes as needed
  • Develop and ensure consistent operating procedures are in place for programs and are understood across cross-functional partners
  • Communicate and liase effectively (written, verbal, and presentation skills) with key stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and vendors including developing communication plans, go-to-market plans, change management strategies and responding to business needs
  • Develop and execute measurement strategies in partnership with Design & Development team to assess efficacy of programs including standardized reporting to deliver insights to partners and advise on program improvements
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action when working with escalations or identifying risks
  • Be able to jump in and quickly manage evolving priorities, in addition to planning and executing special projects and events as needed


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-7 years experience developing and executing business and/or learning solutions
  • Experience with leading multiple simultaneous cross-functional and company-wide projects with proven project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience developing interpersonal relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Proven track record of operating independently and delivering results in an organized manner
  • Experience shifting priorities quickly and acting proactively
  • Experience delivering quality communications and customer service
  • MS Office and Google Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Project Management (PMP/PMI) certification
  • Experience in building and managing Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and programs
  • Experience designing and delivering learning programs to reflect knowledge in adult learning principles, both inside and outside of traditional classroom environments
  • Experience directing and communicating with external vendors
  • Experience with Learner Management Systems
  • Entrepreneurial multi-tasker who can be highly efficient with ambiguity and complexity
  • Experience thinking strategically and acting operationally while managing ambiguity, risk and changing direction of projects and strategies
