An expanding traffic data collection company is looking to fill position that will be available immediately in the Sacramento or surrounding areas.
We at NDS are looking for Field Technicians who are thorough with a strong attention to detail, take pride in their work and have the right attitude. Good communication skills are a must.
Besides being a full time, salaried position, the job offers a flexible work schedule so that you can balance your work and personal life. We are looking for responsible and hard-working individuals who aren't afraid to jump right in and can manage their own time.
The position consists of installing and taking down traffic data equipment in selected roadways as well as processing and sending in data for further analysis. As a technician, your job is to help us get the most accurate data possible while maintaining safety standards at all times. Applicants must be in good health and able to work a physically demanding job.
The applicant must have an open schedule and be prepared to work as needed (weekend, daytime, nighttime or mixed) as well as travel throughout the County (Gas Mileage will be reimbursed).
This position requires someone that is willing to travel as needed throughout Northern California and possibly further. Although this specific position will primarily focus on the area South of the Bay to Merced, there may be days spent out of town in different areas of California, performing various forms of traffic evaluations and studies.
Applicants must have the following:
- Valid Driver's License
- Their own vehicle (with insurance)
- Mobile Phone w/ internet
- Good sense of direction
- Computer literate
