Trucking and Logistics Dispatcher
We are a small flatbed trucking company located in Atwater CA.
We are looking for an organized individual to join our Logistics Team.
Knowledge of the trucking or logistics industry preferred.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Receiving incoming calls on multi-phone lines, relaying messages, and driver information.
Communicating with customers about freight details, pickup and delivery times.
Checking and responding to emails in a timely manner.
Perform general clerical duties.
Entering dispatch information into TMS software,
Process Invoices, POD’s, receipts, and confirmations.
Monitoring truck and trailer repairs and maintenance schedules.
Daily check calls with drivers.
Maintain and update driver files.
Support Load Planner with other dispatch duties.
Requirements:
Must be computer proficient- Adobe, Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
Transportation experience, DMV, DOT, FMCSA strongly preferred.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent communication, time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
Attention to details and ability to work in fast paced environment.
Hours are 7 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.
Casual work atmosphere.
