CKC Laboratories is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused IT Technician to join our team in Mariposa, CA. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in managing technical tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a collaborative work environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse technical challenges and interact with both clients and co-workers. Please note: this is an "in office" position based in Mariposa, CA. This is not a remote or work from home position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
· Resolve computer and network problems.
· Perform hardware maintenance and upgrades
· Test new equipment configurations
· Manage network devices.
· Optimize system performance.
· Make equipment recommendations as required.
· Document problem outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
· Proven experience in hardware/software technical systems troubleshooting and support.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Windows OS maintenance, configuration, and support.
· Experience with Windows Server environment, Active Directory, Virtual Machines (Hyper-V).
· Familiarity with VoIP phone systems.
· Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.
· Experience with Barracuda and Ubiquity products preferred.
· Remote IT systems and peripherals troubleshooting, configuration, and management preferred.
· Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following: Remote management and monitoring tools, Ticketing systems, Backup devices, Backup Power supplies, Network printers.
· Ability to work well with little supervision, both individually and in a team environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Availability for travel to branch offices.
· Availability for on-call and after-hours support responsibilities during emergencies.
· Customer-oriented with a friendly attitude.
· Must have a California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
